The Choice on the Road

This transformative piece of community theatre, The Choice on the Road was performed in Maa across northern Kenya as part of the outreach programme by Critical Conversations Association (CCA). The production travelled through communities in Amboseli, Samburu County and Narok County, bringing performance and dialogue directly to people in high schools, manyattas, shopping centres, markets, churches and community forums.
Using theatre as a catalyst for engagement, the production created spaces for open and honest conversations around complex social issues affecting communities today. Through storytelling, participatory performance and facilitated discussion, The Choice on the Road encouraged audiences to reflect, question and actively engage with topics that are often difficult or uncomfortable to address, fostering awareness, connection and community driven change.

Toured northern Kenya: Amboseli, Samburu County and Narok County. Staged in high schools, manyattas, shopping centres, markets, churches and community forums.
